The interior of the retail building is all about shifting and juxtaposing layers with penetrating views both horizontally and vertically. The building’s pathways, windows, shelving system, and wall materials are all interlocked to create a complexity of layers in the horizontal plane. Vertically, the shelving system dictates the ceiling system of perlins, and visibly above it are the buildings mechanical systems, and structural open web steel joists.
