Ceiling

The ceiling continues the interior idea of juxtaposing layers and penetrable views.  A bottom layer of perlins simulates a barrier to the ceiling-floor system above, although the spaces between the perlins are open and therefore visually penetrable.  This allows a person below to experience a ceiling height of 12′ but see the mechanical and structural systems above that are veiled by the perlins.
