Case Studies

By studying existing malls and big box stores, we can study the positives and negatives that are already in existence.  Existing big box stores show us what types of organizations and pathway there are, and how these buildings use sectional space differently.

Malls can show us different organizations of program and how the are linked by pathway systems.  Malls and big boxes are similar because they both have a variety of unrelated merchandise connected by a pathway system.  The case studies presented are both malls and big boxes for this reason.
